About Me

My name is Ennio Cruz, I am a third year student at the Old Dominion University studying Cyber Security.

My educational goal is to earn a Master’s degree in Cyber Security and work as an Information Security Analyst after graduation.

Computers have always been a passion of mine. I served six years in the United States Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician. During my service I was stationed in Virginia, and have been to other countries like Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Spain and Japan to name a few. While in the Navy I developed skills in computer systems, information security and communication security. Throughout my career in the Navy I have also developed strong work ethic, attention to detail, good communication abilities, ability to multi-task, the ability to work well under pressure and the ability to work well with a team.

I was born and raised in the Philippines, before moving to the United States and joining the Navy in 2014. I am fluent in speaking Tagalog and English. I believe being multilingual is a skill that will be valuable in the future as companies are looking for employees who can communicate fluently in English, as well as other languages.

In my spare time I enjoy playing basketball and surfing as well as hanging out with my friends and family. I also love to eat, travel and experience different cultures.
