I decided to choose a page from a lego instruction manual. The lego set that the instructions are for is a space satellite.

Question: What about this manual makes it efficient?

Answer: I think the fact that all of the directions are pictures is what makes lego user manuals more efficient. Legos are traditionally played with by children of varying ages and I think the directions being pictures makes them more accessible for children of younger ages, who speak different languages, and who have learning disabilities. Also, I believe that it would be a lot more difficult to try and put legos together if the directions were mainly words. The pictures are necessary to put the legos together so that the user can ensure they are putting them in the correct places.
