Hello, my name is Lamari Edmonds and I am currently as senior at Old Dominion University. I am currently majoring in English Education. Welcome to my portfolio based upon my favorite theories learned in Critical Theory 333 this past semester. This portfolio will take you through a journey of different theories and  perspectives formed by iconic individuals.  All of the theories in which you will be exposed to are Deconstruction,Psychoanalytic, Marxism, Post colonial, Feminists, Reader response, and Queer! I am excited for you to explore my portfolio which entails just about everything I have learned throughout the course of my semester. You will first begin my going over the theories, which can be found under the ‘Theories’ tab. All of what you will see will be information such as the different theorists that are commonly affiliated with each theory and a short synopsis describing what each theory is about and how it can be used when analyzing a piece of literature. The second portion you will see is under the tab labeled as ‘applications’ which will show you how I applied each theory towards a different text. This will allow you to get a better understanding of what the theory is and how it can be used! Take your time, sit back and enjoy these seven new and fulfilling perspectives.
