About Me

I was raised in Manassas, Virginia. I come from two immigrant families from the West Indies; my mother was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and my father was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. While growing up, I shared a home with my grandmother, grandfather, and seven brothers. I also learned the value of life from my Rasta grandfather, who, despite being blind, battling cancer, and type 2 diabetes, always told me to cherish every moment of life. Even if you make mistakes because it is all part of the journey and that is what gives life purpose, at the age of 10 and 11 I never understood until I was much older and realized life for what it was, so every day I wake up with the purpose to experience life, the good and the bad. A question that is often asked by my peers and myself is “Who are you’’ I prefer to think of myself as a free-spirited individual who enjoys seeing unfamiliar places and taking in local customs. I find it fascinating to research foreign nations’ natural wonders and learn about their cultures and histories. One of the best ways to extend one’s perspectives and develop a more in-depth awareness of the world is through travel. I value acquiring knowledge, being creative, and evolving personally. I make it a point to have a balanced life that involves both work and entertainment, and I am constantly on the lookout for fresh challenges and chances to develop myself. I have a deep love for technology as it gives me challenges that I thought I was not cable of doing overcoming as well as since technology is always advancing it insures me that I will always obtain new knowledge.
