Hello, my name is Erin Kelly and I am a Junior at Old Dominion University. I am originally from New Jersey but came to Norfolk, Virginia for school. Currently, I am majoring in exercise science with a minor in psychology. I have about 3 plans for my future. My first plan is to get a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and then work in a PT clinic. My second plan is to get a master’s in exercise science and become certified as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) and work with a family friend’s practice. My third and final plan if all else fails, is to get a bachelor’s in exercise science and possibly a master’s in education to become a high school health and physical education teacher and then in my free time coach girls’ volleyball. I decided to take Social Psychology because it fulfilled a requirement for my minor and it seemed like a very interesting course. Psychology interest me a lot, especially with the different aspects where it comes to how and why you interact with people and the thought process that comes with it. I am a people friendly person and can strike up a conversation with almost everyone so I’m curious to see how and why some people are like that and others aren’t. I am very excited for all of the opportunity’s life will throw at me whether it comes to learning new things or challenges/goals that can be accomplished.
