Why is reflection so important to the ePortfolio process and our personal Narrative?
A reflection so important in an ePortfolio and personal Narrative because it shows progress and helps the owner of the ePortolio and the viewer organize achievements and important information that may have been forgotten. Progress is a sign of growth within an individual or show strengths but also weaknesses for particular subjects. As stated in the assigned reading an ePortfolio serves as a “living portal,” through which students may continually re-articulate their ideas of self to others, bringing about new understandings and ethical intentions (Nguyen, 2013). I believe that everyone grasp information differently and also articulates differently as well. It shows their personality and mindset when completing work and going through courses. It shows a wavelength of intuitive change throughout the years of school or life. I also see this as important because people add this as a resume for jobs to give as much detail into their learning as well.
