Hello everyone and welcome to my Word Press. My name is Elizabeth Armstrong and I am a senior here at Old Dominion University. I am a communications major and this is my last semester. I had a lot of electives left to take and have always had a string involvement in sports. This was a big reason for why I decided to take this course. I have been around sports ever since I can remember. I like the connections made through sports. It is fun to form bonds through sports with friends rooting for the same team. It also is fun to have playful rivalries. I had a lot of those since I am a Pittsburgh Steelers fan that was born and raised in Baltimore City, Maryland. In my free time I also enjoy playing sports, specifically basketball. I shoot around with my friends at the gym and am very involved with the ODU basketball teams as I am working with them this semester for my internship. I hope to expand my knowledge of sports outside of football and basketball. I know a lot about those two but do not watch much more than that. I am confident that this will be accomplished over this semester.
