SPAN 311

Spanish 311 was a communication competence class which focused on speaking and listening. Each week we focused on a different chapter and watched a short video at the start. Then we went over vocabulary words and learned new grammar rules and techniques. Every week two classmates would give a presentation about a poem, story, article, or comic from a chapter and we had debates each week on certain topics. The topics included whether personality traits are inherited or learned, trash television, and the pros and cons of multinational corporations. We would end the chapter with a quiz and an interview with either the professor or another classmate.
