Project Coordination

Illumina Cybersecurity Assessment

This artifact is a team-based cybersecurity assessment completed for ODU’s CYSE 425W course. The project required our team to divide responsibilities, coordinate individual sections, and combine our research and analysis into one comprehensive assessment of Illumina’s cybersecurity risks.

My contributions included evaluating the company’s Point of Sale system and Proactive Instrument Performance Services, identifying potential risks, and developing recommended security controls. The project demonstrates my ability to manage assigned responsibilities while contributing to a larger collaborative deliverable. It also strengthened my ability to organize information, coordinate individual work with a team’s objective, and contribute effectively to a project with multiple components and stakeholders.

Microsoft Enterprise Agreement Renewal

This supporting artifact represents my work coordinating the firm’s Microsoft Enterprise Agreement renewal. I led negotiations with Microsoft’s account representative and their Deal Desk while working closely with the CIO to establish the firm’s priorities. I coordinated licensing requirements, contractual terms, pricing product discounts, and service-level issues while managing communication between internal leadership and Microsoft.

This artifact demonstrates project coordination because I was responsible for keeping multiple stakeholders, requirements, and competing priorities aligned throughout a complex initiative. The successful renewal required organization, communication, follow-through, and the ability to keep the larger objective in focus.

IT Administration Teams Channel

I created and organized a dedicated Teams channel to centralize information and resources used in daily IT administrative operations. The channel includes vendor names and contact information as well as direct links to frequently used SOPs, accounting forms, and other documentation maintained in the firm’s DMS.

This artifact demonstrates project coordination because I identified a need for greater organization and created a structure that connects people with the information and resources they need to complete their work. It demonstrates my ability to organize information, improve workflows, and create systems that support coordination across ongoing IT activities.
