Hollywood does a great job by making it seem like hacking is some extremely thrilling event that almost doesn’t take a lot of technical skill. This is the complete exact opposite a lot of technical skill goes into place when trying to penetrate a system. A lot of the scenes from several movies were created in order to get the attention of the viewers so a lot of methods and procedures were exaggerated, however scenes from Mr. Robot and Matrix Reloaded showed an extreme realistic take on a system in penetrated. There was a line code that provided what exploit and Unix software that was being in the Matrix Reloaded, and this exploitation was discovered several months before the film went into preproduction. Keren Elazari did a wonderful job explaining how realistic each of these films were. The media influences cybersecurity by making it seem like the process of hacking is some astonishing feat when it’s a lot more gradual than rapid.
