While working with my pen-pal, Andy Halloway, we have talked about what it takes to plan an event and all that goes into it. For this event I have decided to propose a photo booth during the upcoming game against the Norfolk Admirals and Trois-Rivieras located at The Scope in Norfolk Virginia. This idea was inspired by showing support for the community by including fans in a fun activity that also helps the team and community out at the same time. The event will be held April 24th, 6pm until 7:05pm. This photo booth will be located in the stadium and will feature lots of props and old jerseys that players have worn for people to have the most fun with their pictures. The revenue made from this will be donated to the team and new equipment as well local charities throughout the community. Fans are the target audience here as fan experience is extremely important to us. One way we will spread the word about this through social media is we will have the players and other employees to post about it on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and more. Another way we can make this event more popular is to make a post about it on the Norfolk Admirals official site a few days before tickets sales are high. This will spread the word before the event to generate more revenue. Since this event is held before the game, the Norfolk Admirals event planning team will do a live video on it to encourage people to come out and have a good time at the photo-booth before the game. Another way to spread this information and make future photo-booths/ fundraising events possible is to create a hashtag to post the pictures from the booth. This will spread the word even more people to use the hashtag which will create more popularity for the Norfolk Admirals Hockey Team.
