For starters, I’m currently enrolled in Old Dominion University as a 21 year old Senior in my second to last semester. I major in Fashion Merchandising and minor in IT. My plans were to work corporate for a major fashion company and\/or brand, in IT or visual merchandising; Hence my choice in my major and minor. Both are topics in which I sparked interest from due to my parents. My dad in cybersecurity, and my mom in fashion. I plan on starting up my own business one day that merges both. I’m from the Bronx, New York. I’ve also lived in California for a couple of years. However, I graduated high school in Virginia Beach.<\/p>\n
Regarding my experience with cybersecurity, It’s minimal, I’ve done a little bit of coding here and there in previous courses. However I do feel like there is much more that I can learn. I feel like this course will show me other potential career paths in the cybersecurity field that I can go down.<\/p>\n
