My name is Lillian Martin, and I am living in North Carolina. I am taking online classes at ODU because I want to complete a Cyber Security bachelor’s degree. When I’m not working or studying I like to play video games. I don’t read very much anymore, but I used to read a lot when I was younger.

The assigned reading that was my favorite was The Story of an Hour, because I’ve actually read that short story before. I thought the fact that she had conflicting feelings about her husband’s ‘death’ was interesting. I feel bad for the woman in the story, since she was likely forced into a marriage that she clearly didn’t want, but I also feel bad for the protagonists’ husband and sister, because seeing someone you know drop dead in front of you would be traumatic.
