Cell Biology relates to a lot of things in the medical field. Most importantly, it related to the Genetics class I was taking, and my current field of interest. For starters, cells are the building blocks of all matter while genes are the instructions, but for their to be instructions, we must understand DNA and the structure it encompasses. It further correlates with translation, transcription, replication, DNA polymerases, and many more. Cell Biology helped me grow as a student by helping myself realize that even if I am not the biggest fan of cells and cannot name every aspect possible of cells off the top of my head, the only way to succeed in science is to understand that it begins and ends with cells.
