As I prepare to begin to work on my client services project I took a look at some 4-year plans for ODU to see not only what they did right but what I myself could improve upon for them. This is a 4-year plan for Old Dominion University’s English BA major. This document does a good job of giving the reader a good idea of what classes they may need to take and when in order to graduate. The main aspect this document conveys well is what is needed in order to graduate. Another good aspect of this document is how the font and bolding make it easy for the reader to get through but that is about all it does well.

While reading and analyzing this document I found myself wondering could this document be made better. Could it offer more? If so what? I decided for my client services project I want to improve upon the 4-year plan for English with a focus on Technical Writing so that other students like myself could get as much information as they can on the major in a small flyer that could set them up for the most success.
