The Problem: With my client service project I want to help by making a guide for English majors who want to focus in the technical writing field. In this guide, I want to include classes one would need to take in this major in order to graduate, a basic description of the course, and possible career options. Old Dominion University already has some four-year plan guides but honestly, some of them are outdated and can be improved altogether.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project Plan: I am going to design this project as a double-sided one-page flyer. On the front side of the flyer, I will have my header that displays the course I am designing this flyer for which in my case is English technical writing. Below that, I will give a detailed description of the course and what may be expected. Finally, below that, I will give some basic career information such as what are some possible job opportunities and maybe even possible income for those jobs. On the back of the flyer, I want to make a large checklist that goes over the gen ed, basic core classes for the course, and option D\/ minor. This would make my project usable for a long time instead of just needing to be read once and then thrown out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Justification: As I said above this design would be highly effective because since it can be used as a checklist students can keep the paper for long periods of time and check things off when they get to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
