My name is Adrianna Dillard, and I am 19 years old. I was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. When I have free time, I enjoy volunteering at my church where I mentor preschool and kindergarten aged children. Currently, I am a sophomore at Old Dominion University, double majoring in criminal justice and sociology. I made the decision to attend Old Dominion University during my senior year of high school. I decided to attend school close to home, because I felt as though I already had a strong foundati m. on here, and I wanted to continue to build on what I had already started for myself. Once graduate, I intend to start a career with the
Norfolk Police Department. My end goal in starting that career path is to work my way up to the homicide unit. I want to be able to change my community, as well as help others change the community. I feel as though the career path that I have chosen will do just that! During my time at Old Dominion University, I have maintained a superb GPA, and stayed on the Dean’s List my entire first year. This is something that I hold dear to my heart because I am one of the first people in my family to attend a University. I enjoy having fun, hanging out with friends, and being the life of the party wherever I go! My overall goal in life is to have fun in everything I do. But most importantly, I want to reach the hearts of everyone I come into contact with. I want my younger peers to see me, and say “I want to be like her someday.” When I leave this world, I want to be remembered for amazing accomplishments, a good career, and most importantly, the mark I left on others.
