In my Uber travels, I picked up a young man from Pakistan. He was getting books from the Georgetown book store. Being college students was something we have in common, so the conversation struck up. He was getting his PhD in Economics. research, homework etc. came into the conversation, and I was telling him about my project for this class. Funny how life finds you sometimes, he told me that France, the country, has a policy that does not allow food to be thrown away. He also told me about the Robin Hood group, out of Pakistan, who are doing exactly what I am dreaming of doing here in the US. I never thought that such a small country would be so well prepared and organized to be able to pull off such a project. It just goes to show that with perseverance and an entrepreneurial mindset, ANYTHING can be done~
