1. Am I an entrepreneur? Yes, what makes someone an entrepreneur?
I had a landscape business years ago, which I ran for almost three years. This helped me be more conscious of what I spent because I also have to value the equipment and do maintenance work or buy accessories that I might need when the ones I have now are done with.
I considered myself an entrepreneur in my other past times, and I helped people with language barriers and I interpreted while they had important documents or office visits.

2. What is success? success is feeling confident about something like, for example, my situation feeling optimistic that I will pass this class and be successful in this project that’s due in June, and my other half feels scared about the projects that are due in June. So to me, if you feel confident that you will succeed and you believe in it, then it will happen, but if you start feeling the opposite of success, you will not achieve what you know you can achieve.

3. Am I a self-starter? How well do I follow through on my ideas? It does not necessarily have to be a business to be a self-starter. It can be achieving something personal like personal goals, taking the initiative at work, being motivated, confident, ambitious, and resilient. I believe I am a self-starter. I set myself higher expectations and embraced challenges like being a single parent and going back to school to accomplish my family’s goals of having a better future. Believing that I can do it and following my dreams have always been in my mind. Like the saying says, “when the going gets tough, the tough get going.”
