Artificial intelligence relates to cybersecurity in numerous facets. It enhances cybersecurity by making it more efficient. There are core cyber tools that assist the analyst such as Expert Systems, Autonomous Systems, Augmented Reality, and Neural Networks just to name a few. Expert Systems use facts and knowledge like a human expert to solve complex problems. It can also contain expert knowledge of a specific domain and can solve complex problems within that domain. Next is autonomous systems that aren’t controlled by humans and some examples are drones, Tesla automobiles, etc. Third is augmented reality, which blends the physical and digital world into an experience. Lastly, neural networks collection of algorithms that recognize the relationship in a set of data. Neural networks function very much like the human brain. These A.I. advancements are helpful to cybersecurity, however they also open new vulnerabilities which weren’t previously there, and in either case, they are innovative.
