Solving congestion and traffic issues by using the parkaid application

The Problem Being Addressed

The problem being addressed is congestion and traffic burden in United States metropolitan regions

The context of the problem being addressed

In the transportation sector, traffic and congestion in metropolitan in the United States has become a problem. Due to the increasing automobile ownership in the United States, parking has become a controversial and perplexing issue for many individuals. Parking troubles occur regularly at airports, transit stops, and retail malls. Lack of easily accessible parking may be detrimental to local commerce and impact the quality of life for local inhabitants. Due to the significance of parking, communities do constant research and analysis of parking schemes and their effectiveness. The following list describes the types of difficulties that often arise in communities. Parking is a critical component of every metropolitan transportation program. Inefficient parking is a widespread problem in today’s urban areas. The project intends to launch from the crowded core cities and extend our primary market size from little towns due to the high concentration of people, cars, and businesses there. This prime location will provide us with access to cutting-edge data, skilled workers, and an early indicator of how the market will respond to our products (Coloma et al., 2017). We think our innovative parking software will appeal to them because of their familiarity with cutting-edge technologies. Also, our value offer is in line with the priorities of today’s harried working professionals, who place a premium on efficiency and comfort. For most metropolitan areas in countries to solve the problem of parking, there is a need to come up with the most advanced solutions to solve the problems facing several individuals. These solutions must be integrated with the community to ease transportation in towns. With the issue, there is a need to develop a Parkaid which will help individuals solve the issue of parking in metropolitan areas in big cities. The solution needs to be intergraded d in the traffic management program.

The solution to the Problem of Congestion and Traffic in metropolitan areas

The company and services provided

Parkland is automatic parking software that guides users in real time toward the location of the closest available parking space, assisting users in resolving parking challenges. Most customers find circling for space to park their vehicles frustrating, but this problem has wider implications: it creates unnecessary pollution and turns off consumers at local businesses. According to user research, finding a parking spot in a busy location may take 10 to 15 minutes. Every moment spent doing so adds stress, irritation, fuel consumption, pollution production, and delay to the city (Jennath et al., 2019). Therefore, we need to work towards a more sustainable community by discovering solutions to reduce the adverse effects of parking on congestion and maximize the utilization of existing parking areas.

By directing cars in real-time to the location of open parking spots, Parkaid serves as a solution for drivers, cities, and the environment. Users can input their location into the app, and our built-in GPS guidance system will direct them to the closest parking spot in the region. As a result of Parkaid’s incorporation of parking lot regulations, drivers will be alerted before they go over their allotted time. Parkland also provides safe in-app payments, allowing drivers to park and leave without having to fumble with cash or credit. Users may use the filter feature to narrow the available parking spots based on criteria such as the number of available spots, the cost per hour, and the longest time a car can be parked in a spot. Parkaid application will deploy in-pavement antennae and cameras in several parking services to monitor when and where spots become vacant (Giampaoli & Hessel,  2021). Furthermore, we will create unique methods that combine hardware information with software analysis to power our easy-to-use intelligent parking platform. Users installing Parkaid will discover that they save time and gas money and have less hassles and uncertainty while looking for parking.

Barriers encountered during the development of the parkaid program

there are a number of potential barriers that could confront the development of the parkaid program in metropolitan regions. Firstly, there is the challenge of gaining political support for the program, which may be difficult to achieve given the current state of the economy and budget deficits in many jurisdictions. Secondly, there is the challenge of designing a program that effectively reduces traffic and congestion while also being affordable and practical for municipalities to implement (Horner. 2016). Thirdly, there is the challenge of getting people to use the program, which may require significant public education and outreach efforts. Finally, there is the challenge of monitoring and evaluating the program to ensure it has the desired effect on traffic and congestion.

Assessment of the proposal

There are a few ways to measure the success of the Park Aid program in metropolitan regions using several ways. One way would be to track the number of people using the Park Aid app to find parking spots. Another way would be to track the time people spend searching for parking spots on media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram (Enríquez et al ., 2017). If the Park Aid program is successful, there should be a decrease in the amount of time people spend searching for parking spots.

To calculate the charge of a new customer, we divided our quarterly sales and marketing expenses by the number of brand-new clients obtained during that time. Our company’s success depends on attracting and retaining an extensive user base, which will produce cash and grow our market share. Since we spend so much on marketing, we must know whether our efforts are paying off and if our approach is working. Tracking “active users” daily and evaluating the pattern can help gauge customer interest. These figures reveal peak periods, user locations, and high-traffic regions (Enríquez et al ., 2017). These data and trends may help us better understand our audience and adjust future designs to their demands. The conversation assessment tool will determine the conversion rate. To find out, divide the entire number of app downloads by the total premium subscribers. This number is crucial to attaining our revenue objectives and increasing quickly. If monthly data patterns reveal that our product is not well-designed or getting enough market, there is need to perform additional client research and reevaluate our valuing structure. Parkaid company will also use a retention ratio since we will work hard to keep clients. New clients have a lower profit margin than current ones. Consumer research is needed to determine why individuals have stopped joining.
