Describe five businesses or non-profits that have been created in my field
- One such enterprise is CrowdStrike, a cybersecurity technology company with a focus on threat intelligence, endpoint incident response, and endpoint protection.
- Another AI-powered cybersecurity company that focuses on applying machine learning to identify and address cyberthreats is called Darktrace.
- Another company in the cybersecurity space is Palo Alto Network, which offers a variety of security services and products like cloud security, threat intelligence, and firewalls.
- The non-profit Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing software security.
- The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) is a nonprofit organization that comes last. The group is committed to protecting civil rights in the digital sphere.
What is your overall perspective on the entrepreneurship experience?
I think that going into business for myself will be a really rewarding experience, but I also think that I still have a lot to learn about being an entrepreneur. In my opinion, entrepreneurship is more about how to build a successful company than it is about doing what has to be done. They work extremely hard on their own and form a team that will yield long-term, profitable outcomes. To me, everything they do is an expression of their desire to make their business objective a reality.
How did the entrepreneurship prepare or not prepare you to be a competitive candidate for vacant positions?
I’ve attempted innovation before, but my execution wasn’t very good. I will say that because of what I did incorrectly, this innovation was something for which I was ready. I have made preparations that demonstrate their interest in the topic and their wish for the company to be successful. The path to success in entrepreneurship is not easy. To decide if someone is a candidate for the job, the interviewer reads their body language. Use handshakes, eye contact, gestures, and other nonverbal cues to let others know how knowledgeable and accomplished you are. For a candidate to be deemed competitive, they cannot have a history of disagreements with supervisors or colleagues.
What suggestions do you have to improve the experience?
A person with more experience than you can inspire you to get better and reach their level of experience. You will get better the more instruction and guidance you receive. Developing communication skills and producing work with a purpose are two more suggestions. You should pay attention to the members of your business team as they have the potential to improve your experience. Taking the Entrepreneur course has taught me a few new things and opened my eyes to the potential outcomes of not working as a team and communicating with others. The invention would not have succeeded on its own if people had not gotten in touch with one another.
What’s next for you?
My next step is to apply all of the knowledge I gained from the entrepreneurship course to my future career. In addition, I work on my innovation ePortfolio project to demonstrate the innovations that my team and I have developed. How we observed a problem in this world and came up with a fix for it. You never know, a company may be impressed by your work and wish to hire you because of your excellent vision, ePortfolio, teamwork abilities, or other advantages. I’m currently looking into government positions in related fields. and will share my completed ePortfolio work in order to fulfill my passion of pursuing a career in which I am prepared and to acquire new skills in the process.
