What is design thinking?
Design thinking involves altering the way you approach issues. Design Thinking is successful because it focuses on the needs of the user; it is more than just good ergonomics. Design Thinking encourages people to explore alternatives and creates options that had not previously existed. Understanding the context and culture of the stakeholders involved is important. This understanding can be discovered through direct observation and qualitative data, which results in narratives that are incredibly relatable. With the help of the design thinking process, multidisciplinary teams can collaborate in a methodical and common language, fostering greater creativity and finding better solutions more quickly. Additionally, it is a project that combines science and art. The steps in the design thinking process are understanding, ideating, selection, prototype, and finally validating. It means having the ability to understand and experience the emotions of others. Your product will succeed if you can learn what customers need and want. It’s here to alter how you approach issues. People are encouraged to consider alternatives and create previously unimagined options by using design thinking. Because it concentrates on the requirements of the user, design thinking is effective. It goes beyond good ergonomics. Understanding the context and culture of the stakeholders involved is important. This understanding can be discovered through direct observation and qualitative data, which results in narratives that are incredibly relatable.
How has design thinking influenced a product I use?
One design thinking product I would say is writing essays. We used to write essays on paper and some of our grammar was not correct or misspelled something. If it wasn’t for technology and any word document, we would still be getting points off for grammar and spelling on our writing essays. Thanks to this new technology that catches words that is spelled incorrectly, pronouns, grammar, etc. It has also made us see our mistakes to make us better writers.
What are the connections between opportunities and planning?
In my opinion, they both are something related to entrepreneur and can both lead to a successful business. Some people are given the opportunity to do something for themselves and others plan to teach themselves skills that would impact on them. In the module, One of the key elements for successful planning is “In order to sell a product/service it is essential to know a) how you are going to sell a product to the market, b) who your customers are, c) what activities you need to undertake that help you sell the idea; and c) what resource and capabilities are together (and with which partnering companies/entrepreneurs you need to collaborate).”
What opportunities have I missed?
Yes, I have missed an opportunity to take the time to apply to as many internships as possible. I didn’t let myself down when I couldn’t get an internship and should continue applying till one company eventually reaches out to me. I am using thing opportunity I have gotten recently to receive my bachelor diploma. I work on my best on this course to prove to those who have given me this opportunity and be grateful that I will waste it. I also received another opportunity to work on firewalls to improve my skills and get in cyber related career field. Some opportunities will be missed but they will eventually come back some day and be sure not to miss that one.
Can a successful venture be unethical?
No, there aren’t any right or wrong ways to go about getting what you want, but I do agree with that statement. A few examples of unethical business practices include using unfair business strategies to compete, breaking company rules, acting evasively, treating suppliers and clients unfairly, using deceptive sales techniques, and harming the environment. You might lose your job and reputation, organizations might experience a drop in credibility, general morale and productivity might suffer, or the behavior might lead to hefty fines and/or significant financial loss.
