This paper will focus on a specific population you are interested in working with in the future (e.g. children, substance abuse, mental illness, domestic violence, homeless, geriatric, etc.): This paper should include (1) basic research on the population (2) history of service approaches/best practices (3) types of professionals and/or agencies (including specific local contact information) who work with this population. Minimum of 5 pages in APA 6^th edition format. Must include at least 4 professional journal article citations from within the past 5 years. Fifty percent of the total grade will be based on quality of writing. See the grading rubric on blackboard. You will be presenting this information to the class and will need a 1 page handout including a short summary of the population and a list of resources in the area that work with this population.
