When writing essay three my biggest struggle was citing and MLA format. I struggled with this because I have never really gone over how to do it. It has not been a big focus in any of my english classes therefore none of my previous teachers have gone over how to use MLA format. When writing my essay I used the MLA format link provided that informed me how to cite in MLA format. If the link provided was not there I would have had to either ask someone how to do it or search up how to cite in MLA. Another aspect I struggled with on this essay was coming up with the conclusion. In the conclusion you have to restate your thesis in somewhat different words and also add some concluding information. Coming up with information to help conclude my essay was a struggle because I was not sure of something to put. This took me a couple of days to finally come up with something that fit properly with my essay.Considering the different things I have learned this semester I had a much easier time punctuating my sentences throughout my essay. Before this semester I struggled with punctuating my sentences properly and had many errors when submitting papers because of this. After learning the most common punctuation errors and how to prevent or fix them I have less and less errors in each of my essays. Learning how to spot them has also saved me tremendous time when revising my papers because I have less errors to fix. Because of this it takes me less time to write my papers and I also receive better scores on the work and papers I turn in. I also know that being able to punctuate properly and catch my errors before hand is something I will be able to use for the rest of my college career and possible in my future careers to come.
