This ePortfolio project has been effective by providing a place to store all my writing pieces for future and easier access, providing something to look back on to see how my writing has progressed, and allowing others to have easier access to my work. After writing each of my essays and adding them to my ePortfolio it made it easier for me to find each piece and look back on it. This helped seeing as many of the papers and assignments that came in the future involved looking back and reflecting on past papers and pieces. Looking back on my previous pieces also helped me to avoid and fix possible mistakes in my future papers, therefore having easier access to past papers helped me tremendously. The ePortfolio also provided a place for me to go back and look at my previous papers in order to see how I have progressed since the beginning of the semester. Many of the writing reflections in the past had to do with previous papers that were written and how our writing ability has progressed. Being able to look back on how we have progressed also helps by providing a sense of accomplishment and confidence for the future. This ePortfolio is public for everyone to see, therefore allowing others to have access to some of my pieces. This allows the professor to go in and check my work easily and also for either future professors, employers, or anyone in the public to google my name and be able to see some of my work for any reason. This project has also taught me how to create and include important aspects in my future eportfolios, whether I continue to add to this ePortfolio or create an entirely new one. This can be extremely helpful in the future for other classes or possible future career and job opportunities.
