As the CEO of my company, My first reward would be if the company goes three months without a data breach then every employee gets a two day pay-day off. This would be effective because I know employees love to work but a paid day off would get them to focus more on their effectivness of cybersecurity and be better prepared against attacks. A sanction I would put in ,is if we are breached, you are required to have a special conference with me on why it happened. I feel this would be needed just to give the employees a scare to not go to the big boss to have a conference. This would wake employees up and keep them on their toes with their cybersecurity responsibility. My next reward would be, If an employee was to catch a hacker and stop them in their tracks the employee would receive a bonus on the next check and now have a recommendation letter personally from me if they want to move on from the company. The other sanction would be if you are found as an insider hacker you would be immediately terminated. This is to show that if you want to enter the cybersecurity world there is no place for those who use it in mischievous ways.Cybersecurity can be a great field to work in but using it for wrong can ruin your career. Failure to protect a customer’s data will result in suspension until further notice. I would put this sanction in place because I want all employees to know that civil liberties are important. We don’t need any lawsuits against the company and me being the CEO would have to implement this sanction very solemnly. The last reward would be for all the employees to teach others how to enhance their cyber skills. This is just good for the workplace in general, if one worker is having trouble then a coworker helping them out is just showing how team work makes the dream work within the company. This reward for the whole company and for employees to feel relief that they have someone always backing them up.
