My name is Kaidon Jeffrey. I am currently in my second year at Old Dominion University, majoring in cybersecurity. I have worked two years now in child care through the YMCA, and I am also currently working as a Recreation Aide for the Isle of Wight County through the Parks and Recreation Department. I have also volunteered for Isle of Wight County through the Parks and Recreation Department.

Outside of academics and work, I play basketball and go to the gym at ODU Student Rec Center. I like to attend as many sporting events as I can to help support ODU. This year, I’m looking forward to joining a few clubs that are related to cybersecurity. I hope to build several new connections and expand my knowledge in the cybersecurity field.

Although I currently do not have any professional experience in the cybersecurity field, I am looking to change that soon. I am seeking opportunities in the cybersecurity field, such as internships, to gain as much hands-on experience as possible and become a cybersecurity professional.
