In this course, I examined how society responds to criminal behavior as cases progress through the justice system. I gained a deeper understanding of the interdependence between key components such as crime statistics, law enforcement, criminal courts, and correctional procedures. This holistic approach allowed me to analyze the entire system, recognizing how each part contributes to the administration of justice.
Through case studies and discussions, I explored the challenges and complexities involved in ensuring fairness, accuracy, and efficiency at every stage of the process. This course not only strengthened my ability to critically assess the criminal justice system but also enhanced my appreciation for the collaboration required to address crime and its societal impact effectively.
