Describe three ways that computers have made the world safer and less safe.
Fun fact, here are three ways that computers have made the world both safer and also less safe. Computers have impacted our education system effectively. It has expanded the way we are able to access information. The vast amount of books, images, audio, and videos, allows people to take full advantage and consume sharp information. Computers and technology have improved our ways of communication. The way our technology is advancing has led us to new ways of electronic communication, social networking, voicemails, emails, and even video conferences. Computers have also given the healthy industry huge improvements. Hospitals have taken advantage of modern technology to improve their security systems, health rooms, and surgical rooms. Giving doctors accurate information regarding the health of patients and allowing them to give proper treatment. Now the negative effects. Computer use can result in physical health issues such as headaches, and pain in the wrist, arm, and neck. These pains are often the result of a fixed posture when using the computer keyboard for a long period of time. This can also cause muscle pain due to fatigue. Computers have CRT, or Cathode Ray Tube, monitors that give off X-ray radiation. Being exposed can cause cancer, tumors, miscarriage and birth defects, and insomnia. Many computers have CRT, or Cathode Ray Tube, monitors that give off X-ray radiation that can affect your health. The FDA requires that computer and TV monitors meet a radiation limit. However, they still give off a small amount of radiation. You can avoid exposing yourself to this radiation by limiting your time using the computer or by increasing your distance from the computer. Being exposed to computer radiation can cause cancer, tumors, miscarriage and birth defects, headaches, and insomnia. With these things in mind, keep your health as a top priority, or you might suffer unneeded consequences.
