One major benefit is that it gives businesses a common structure to follow. Instead of guessing what to do, organizations can use the framework to identify important systems, protect data, detect threats, respond to incidents, and recover after problems. This makes cybersecurity easier to organize and explain to employees, managers, and leaders. It also helps companies see where they are weak and what needs to be improved. At my future workplace, I would use the NIST Cybersecurity Framework as a guide for building better security practices. I would first help identify important assets, such as computers, networks, customer data, employee records, and business systems. Then I would look at what protections are already in place and what risks still exist. I would also use the framework to support training, access controls, backups, monitoring, and incident response plans. This would help the organization stay prepared instead of only reacting after something bad happens. I think the framework is useful because it is simple enough to understand but strong enough to guide real security decisions. Overall, it helps a company become safer, more organized, and more confident in handling cyber threats.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
The NIST Cybersecurity Framework can help organizations understand, manage, and reduce cybersecurity risks in a clear way.
