One professional goal I have is to be able to speak confidently to patients. Throughout my academic college career, I have realized that I struggle with initationing conversation when it comes to patients. Also knowing the patients and being comfortable with conversation. With this intership, I have to manage schedules not only for the primary care office but align it to the patients needs. Meaning that I make several calls throughout the day and have one on one conversation in person, giving me the practice I need to complete this goal.

The second professiona goal I have is to obtain more organizational skills and to better my skills in time management. Looking beyond my future degree, I know these two key components will set me a part from other indiviuals and make me the better option for potential jobs. With this in mind, I always seek ways to better my preformance in these two areas. Around the office, I always aim to bring new ideas to help keep the office organized. Whether that be for organizing file cabinets or keeping out Be Well organized when it comes to keep the patients in the loop.

My third profesional goal is to leave this internship with a full time job offer. I will work hard during my internship and be responsible to show that I can be a strong asset to the team. Also making sure that I make the connections at events so that I am able to learn how to work my way up the ladder. I will achieve this goal by learning from the office manager as well and doing the trainings/certificates she has offered me to do to grow my career.
