My name is Essence, and I&#8217;m currently a junior majoring in Cybersecurity. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, going to the gym, and fixing computers. I&#8217;ve always liked hands-on work and figuring out how to fix things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve taken online classes before, so I&#8217;m pretty familiar with the format. I like having the flexibility to work at my own pace, especially while balancing school with a full-time job. I haven&#8217;t had an internship yet, but I would like to complete one to gain more experience. At my last job, I worked as a Computer Technician, where I was able to troubleshoot, repair, and work with computers regularly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I don&#8217;t currently have an ePortfolio, but I&#8217;m looking forward to creating one and using it to showcase my academic work, experience, and technical skills. None of my previous classes mentioned having one.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After graduating, I plan to continue building my career in technology and cybersecurity. My long-term goal is to work as a government contractor, starting in a role such as a System Administrator or Network Engineer and eventually transitioning into Cloud Security Engineering.
