Justice

As stated in my home page, I am a Criminal Justice/Administration of Justice major. When I first got into the learning process of our Criminal Justice system, I did not know what I wanted to do. I knew that helping others was a passion and priority for myself but I knew that I did not want to take the simple route of becoming a law enforcement officer.I have gone on ride alongside, as well as community events where I can interact with my local officers. The job seemed pretty easy if I say so myself. I believe the hardest part of being a LEO would have been going to the training academy and the long hiring process.
I had also visited a penitentiary where I could interact with on duty correction officer and inmates who were doing life in prison. Due to my big heart and understanding for others, I find myself feeling the need to help those even in the darkest places.
After graduating with my degree in CJ, I took the time to contact some local attorneys and inmates. In hopes of helping them gather documents needed to help their case. Sometimes our justice system wrongs us, so my goal was to help all those I could have a bit of a better stay and regain hope in freedom.
