The media plays a large role in how we understand cybersecurity. Media gives us the ability to spread information across the world virtually. This can be great especially when you need to spread awareness about something important. An example of this in the cybersecurity world is creating awareness about cyber threats going around. A good example of this for most teenagers is someone’s  instagram account might get hacked and they share across the media that they have been hacked and to be careful with sharing your information. This happens often due to poor instagram passwords or giving your information to the wrong person. The world has become extremely reliant on the media because most things are just a click away; however, this cannot always be a good thing and can cause laziness or reading false information. Media has a large impact on our understanding of cybersecurity that is both beneficial and negative.
