This section is about my personal and professional interests and the answer to the general question: “Who am is Ethan Corder”. Some of my personal interests include Video Games, Hiking, and Traveling. Over my life, I have been to over twenty different countries on four different continents. Overall my favorite country to visit was Japan with its beautiful land and amazing food. The picture above was taken at The Great Channels of Virginia which was a brutal nine-mile hike with great views and an above-ground channel that is like exploring a cave.

In 2019 I began my educational journey at Old Dominion University as a Computer Science major after the pandemic hit I began to struggle with my major and started to lose my love in Computer Science. At the end of 2021, I changed my major to Cyber Security began the most important chapter of my life, and began to find enjoyment in my studies. I believe that cybersecurity is the most important field of study that any person that goes to college for a Tech related degree. As I sit through my lectures I learn that our system is very vulnerable and needs creative and critical thinkers like me to try and solve some of our great problems in the industry. As of early 2022, I am still learning and have not had any experience in the field of cyber security however my goal is to have an internship by summer 2022. Another goal of mine is to graduate by 2024 and began my professional work.
