How should we approach the development of cyber-policy and -infrastructure given the “short arm” of predictive knowledge?
There are many different ways we could approach the development of cyber-policy and cyber-infrastructure given the “short arm” of predictive knowledge. Since it is nearly impossible to know the future of cybersecurity when it comes to cyber attack and because we have don’t have much knowledge of the subject, it would be best to approach this development in a day by day manner. If this was approached in a day by day manner, it would consist of constantly making sure that all systems and firewalls are always up to date with the newest and strongest security to ensure safety. Another reason why we should approach this in a day by day manner is because this way things can be taken slowly and companies can start to develop new cyber programs to protect these cyber systems. In order to make sure this approach works, companies and organizations need to be sure to keep up to date with all the new updates to ensure their systems are always using the best technology for protection. Overall, we should approach the development of cyber-policy and cyber-infrastructure in a day by day manner because we do not know how to predict the future and this way companies and organizations can be sure they are getting the best and strongest secuirty.
