In no order, out of the eleven illegal things internet users do, there are certainly five that stick out to me. The first being faking your identity online, because this can mean anything from identity theft to simply lying about your age to other people. This can get you in all sorts of trouble, either local or federal depending on how serious it was and how far it went. The next is sharing passwords, address, or photos of others. This is obvious because unless is it yourself or has any direct relation to you, there is no reason to be using other peoples images online. This can again be used for things such as identity theft, fraud, or theft. The next is collecting information about children which is probably the most obvious one. Collecting anything to do with a minor no matter what it is, is illegal and can be severely punishable, and that is no point or excuse for it. The fourth is extracting audio from youtube, because the clips that you extract can be use in all sorts of ways to deface someone’s image and tarnish them not just online, but socially. The last one is Bullying and trolling, this is because there is heaps of evidence online that bullying and things such as trolling can have serious trauma on individuals, and should never be tolerated.
