There are many countries throughout the globe who face different problems, some face more pollution, others have less food. There is one problem that does unify all countries with access to technology and this problem is cybersecurity. Cyber security tends to be a larger term with a lot of topics that fall under the umbrella of cyber security. There are a few big hitters like DDos or Ransomware but then there are a few smaller or more niche topics. For example if you look at the United States as compared to a country like India they will have similar problems but not the same problems. Looking on the side of the United States the main problems include Ransomware, Malware, DDos, and Phishing. Phishing is especially a big problem in the US and will continue to be unless people become more technologically literate. The goal for phishing is to go for those who are more vulnerable to fall for tricks like the elderly, those who have been incarcerated, and any group who tends to have less experience with technology. A lot of the time a message or an email will be sent to them trying to get them to click on a link where you need to provide data. This is a simple attack where those can share social security numbers, bank information, names, addresses, just about anything important. On the other hand for a country who is larger yet unfortunately not developed as well like India they tend to have a different set of issues. The main concern for their country currently is there is an increased amount of attacks on healthcare. Ransomware is an attack made to encrypt data so it is unable to be accessed by the victim. This is a large problem for many reasons but one of the largest reasons is that India is ranked one of the least clean countries in the world so healthcare is even more important than it should be.
