There are many ways to tell if your computer is safe. You can check in some ways for free and in other ways you have to pay. For example if you have an antivirus installed you can more than likely use it to scan your computer. You can also scan your computer by going to your settings on a windows computer. Once there if you go to the security tab, then click on virus and threat protection you will be able to scan your computer for free. This process won’t take too long if it should honestly be done pretty often just to make sure. If you do this every two weeks-to a month while using your computer for traditional reasons then it should be fine. The security tab in the settings is super useful for a lot of reasons and should be used pretty heavily to make sure your computer is safe without having to spend any money. In that tab you can allow or deny permissions for your computer to have access to, you can see the performance of your computer and its health, and you can check and make sure there aren’t any urgent problems. Most of the time computers are safe, you can more or less tell if something is wrong because the computer will either act in a weird way, your computer will slow down or freeze, or your computer might just be completely unresponsive. If something happens where it’s too late to check if your computer is safe while you are on the computer then you might have to get help from a professional. If you do invest in a good antivirus, don’t download random things from random people, and regularly check your computer for problems then you won’t have to worry so much if your computer is safe.
