Engineers do technological based things and they are fundamental for a lot of the framework, with this they also help make cyber networks safer. Network security engineers are responsible for a lot of different components when it comes to security. First of all they have to test for network vulnerabilities. If there is a weak spot in the network it can be exposed by a hacker or anyone who is trying to unethically find out more data. Engineers also work with IT staff to find out and diagnose problems. If there is a problem then it urgently needs to be taken care of, so working with It professionals will speed up the process considering that they tend to have more technical troubleshooting knowledge. They also have to create the network security, implement the security to make sure that the system is set up, and then enforce it to make sure it runs smoothly. The engineers also have to test to make sure that more than one component runs and that they run smoothly and efficiently. If some things don’t complement each other the whole system might fail. There are so many responsibilities that engineers need to make sure that they are up to par on all cylinders. If they don’t have consistent up to par knowledge it makes their job almost impossible to do. They also need to know how to document the data they collect and make sure that those who get the data can interpret and understand the data. If the person doesn’t understand what data the engineer had written down then it makes it hard for the rest of the company or whomever the engineer is working with to understand. At the end of the day the engineers need to take care of a lot to preserve the safety of the networks.
