this assignment was a great reflection for myself and seeing the things I do for others, as well as realizing I could do more random acts. I do more random small acts of kindness on a day to day basis. When I am helping others, it makes me feel good. I do a lot more random acts for people I know such as getting them something thoughtful, or helping them if they need help. I also help random people in small ways such as giving a homeless man money, donating money to charity, and letting someone cut in front of me in line at the grocery store. I think the world would be a better place if everyone did a few small acts of kindness everyday. I know when someone does something nice for me it makes me very happy and brings a smile to my face, and I try to do that to others as well.

Assignment 3 takeaway

Writing a paper on racism and prejudice is a hard to do as it is such a hot topic nowadays. This assignment made me think, and challenged me to think and define what prejudice, racism, and comedy is. This assignment is very relevant everyday as racism, prejudice, and comedy is in every day to day life.

Assignment 2 take away

This assignment was rather hard for me, as I don’t have many candid pictures of me or pictures that I felt fully described me. I did feel like this assignment helped me think about how I really view myself and areas that I still need to work on. I enjoyed this assignment and put a lot of thought and time into my writing and my pictures.

The first assignment on heuristics really engaged me. I thought long and hard about each type of heuristic and even talked to my friends about it. I used examples of each type of heuristic from real life experiences. It really made me think about why I have some of the opinions/judgements that I have.
