Professional Experience

Windsor Elementary School, Windsor, Virginia

Long Term Music Substitute; Grades Pre K-5th

January 2026 – May 2026

Completed student teaching internship in elementary general music across multiple grade levels. Planned and delivered standards-based music instruction focused on rhythm, pitch, movement, recorder performance, ensemble participation, and music literacy. Implemented classroom management strategies, differentiated instruction, and formative/summative assessments to support student learning and engagement. Incorporated technology, movement activities, classroom games, and performance-based learning to create an engaging and inclusive music classroom environment while collaborating with faculty and staff throughout the instructional process. Additionally, I received “Inspire” award during my 3rd month of teaching. This award was for bringing life and excitement back into the Windsor Elementary music program.

The Cheesecake Factory 2018-Present

  • Promoted to DT (Designated Trainer) Summer 2020.
  • Promoted to Bartender Fall 2020.
  • Had opportunities to work in a made from scratch kitchen, and bar. Learned about more advanced steps of service.

Brooke Point Band Camp Tech 2023-2025

  • Second in leadership behind the band director, overseeing all organizational things in relation to marching band, and interacting with parents
  • Led both woodwind and brasswind sectionals with efficiency
  • Helped take BPHS to their first Marching Superior and VA All State Honor Band recognition
  • Provided help with Pyware software to band director who was less familiar

Frank Cox High School Observation 2025

  • Learned an vast amount of information in relation to Orchestra at all levels
  • Observed Advanced Strings and Beginning Strings
  • Could play side by side with students, despite being a wind player
  • Made key connection with students even after only being there one semester

High School Soccer Coach 2013-2016

  • Coached kids from 9th to 12th grade in recreational soccer, and taught important values outside of the sport such as building a well-organized team, and forming social connections with strangers.
  • Gained valuable leadership experience by coaching over 20 kids at one time, and organizing line-ups and practices for games.
