Hey Everyone! My name is Brookelin Finley and I am a Senior studying Communications and Marketing here at Old Dominion University. I have mixed emotions about senior year but I am ready to begin the next chapter of my life, even though I have kind of already started it. I have always dreamed of being and event planner and I felt that a degree in marketing and or communications would give me a slight edge compared to and events management degree. I was lucky enough to land a job planning events specifically weddings two years ago and I absolutely love it! My goals for the next year are to start my own event planning company and to start a blog based on my work life social life. There isn’t much social life going on this time of year for me though because I am an NPC Athlete and I am in the middle of my ” show season”. I believe my career as a bodybuilder shows my ability to really give everything I have to something I’m passionate about. It takes a done of dedication and determination to compete in this sport and I have placed in Top 3 at all of my shows this year so I feel very confident that I have a lot of dedication and determination.

Since my time here at ODU is coming to a close I decided to throw some “fun/interesting” classes into my last two semesters one being Psychology 304 because I truly love psychology and reading the reviews of this class made it seem even more interning. I’m a people person I love to know why certain people do things and what makes them do things, “But why?” is my most used line so i figured this class would be a perfect fit.
