Mesh Lab processing<\/strong><\/p>\n

Download file.<\/a><\/p>\n

  1. \u00a0Open MeshLab from Start > Programs > MeshLab<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Edit > Select Faces in Rectangular Region > Select with the rectangular selection what to delete<\/li>\n
    2. Filters > Selection > Delete Selected Faces<\/li>\n
    3. File > Export Selected Faces as STL (use some simple name e.g. model01)\u00a0 to the following directory: D:\\MeshFix-V2.1\\MeshFix-V2.1\\bin64<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      b) MeshFix<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Open Command Prompt (search “command”, click command icon).<\/li>\n
      2. A few commands:\n
          \n
        1. c: (d:) – go to root directory in c drive (d drive)<\/li>\n
        2. cd – change directory; cd .. – change to parent directory<\/li>\n
        3. use “tab” key to complete filename.<\/li>\n
        4. dir – display files in directory<\/li>\n
        5. Basic DOS commands – click here<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          2. Go to the D:\\MeshFix-V2.1\\MeshFix-V2.1\\bin64<\/p>\n

          3. Type: “MeshFix.exe model_name.stl new_model_name.stl<\/p>\n

          model_name = your model name<\/p>\n

          new_model_name = assign new model<\/p>\n

          c) Autodesk Netfabb<\/strong><\/p>\n

          1. Open the file in Netfabb<\/p>\n

          2. Go to Extras > Repair Part<\/p>\n

          3. Part > Export Part > As STL<\/p>\n

          d) Import STL to Slic3R and Generate G code<\/strong><\/p>\n
