There is not currently any business in the local Hampton Roads area that caters to francophones or those who want to learn about the French language and culture. The lack of space might attribute to the reason why the local Alliance Francaise is not as active as the Washington D.C. Alliance Francaise. There is also a lack of local book sotres, or big companies (such as Barnes and Noble) that offer French Literature in the target language. To attain such material you would either have to order online through places such as Amazon or Albertine Books or travel to Washington D.C. to visit the in-store bookshops Politics & Prose or Bonjour Books .

Legal Creation of the Company

I would need to create and LLC and obtain a business license as well as go through the steps to obtains permits to sell food and drinks while following health department procedures implemented by the city.

Publicity

The best way to promote the business is through word of mouth and websites such as Instagram or Facebook as the Hampton Roads community shares and relies heavily on the recommendations of others to support local businesses big and small.
