Be More Open-minded

My takeaway on this heuristics assignment focuses on representative heuristics. Much like everybody else, I tend to “judge a book by its cover.” Though this way of thinking allows me to make a quick inference through quick observations, I realize that this is not an accurate way nor appropriate way of getting to know other people or getting information. I have learned that not only because somebody dresses a certain way or acts a certain way does not mean he or she belongs in one specific group. This assignment reminded me that what you see is not always what you need to believe.
