Journal #2- Explain how the principles of science relate to cybersecurity

The principles of science have Relativism simply means that all things are related, and regarding cybersecurity, it can easily be said that a change in one system can lead to another in a different system. For example, the healthcare system is changing and advancing due to technological improvements. Objectivity is when scientists study topics in a free manner; it lets people simply ask questions, and relating to cybersecurity, it can be questions such as how should hackers be punished, etc. Parsimony means that scientists should keep their levels of explanation as simple as possible. This helps make the understanding of cyber easier. Next is empiricism, which means that social scientists can only study behavior when it is real to our senses, be it touch, sight, taste, hearing, or smell. Ethical neutrality refers to the fact that scientists must adhere to ethical standards when conducting research, and in the cyber world, it can protect the rights of the individuals being studied and address issues in the cyber world by raising questions and ethical issues such as whether restricting internet access to certain communities reduces cyber crime. Finally, determinism. This refers to a principle of science that means that behavior is either caused, determined, or influenced by events, and this relates to cybersecurity as questions can be asked about why people commit countless cyber crimes.
