Can we create three fake websites and three real websites and ask them to spot what makes them fake?
What makes many websites very real is the fact that they have standards that hold and make everything more believable. A genuine website will include anything that makes you feel secure.And three things many can look for in a website are confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Access to information should be restricted to only those who require it in order to maintain confidentiality. Some websites will generally ask for information such as one’s social security number or anything else that is not typically requested. Integrity is the assurance that information is accurate and reliable, or, in other words, protected from unauthorized access, destruction, and loss. Most fake websites do not have that “safety feature.” Lastly, there is “availability,” which is something that is guaranteed access to information by authorized persons as and when necessary. Most websites lack all of these, and in this day and age, many can tell when a website is fake or not.
