I find it important to study world languages due to the differences in cultures around the world. When we learn a language we can also learn more about a culture due to how intertwined these two are. This is important in a world where cultures cross paths more than ever.

I study French in order to help with my pursuit of a J.D. in environmental law to better communicate and understand French lawmaking as they are ahead of the curve in terms of environmental issues, and due to the fact my family has creole roots.
